A climber was rescued after falling from mount Elbrrus which is 4800 m above the sea level.
Rescuers found a polish climber on mount Elbrrus. He fell from the rock but survived.

The world’s largest crocodile died in Philippines

On Sunday the world’s largest crocodile died at the city Zoo Bunavan, Philippines. Crocodile’s nickname was Lolongi and it was in the Guinness world records as the largest crocodile in the world. Its length was-6.17 meters, and weight exceeded a ton.
According to the City Mayor Edwin Cox Elorde Lolongi was more than 50 years old, and his death could be caused by the unusually cold weather of the region. The crocodile was caught in 2011 during three-week hunt when it was suspected that the reptile attacked the locals. At least one person is known to be its victim. Madrid Expo (FITOUR 2013)
Between January 30 and February 3, 2013 the National Administration of Tourism participated in the International fair exhibition “FITUR 2013” in Madrid, Spain. It was one of the biggest exhibitions in the world. 10 644 companies from 166 countries took part in it. 7,532 journalists attended the event and nearly 124 700 visitors visit the exhibition. Caucasus Travel, Visit Georgia, Georgian Discovery Tours, Georgica Travel, Explore Georgia and the Agency of protected areas of Georgia took part with the National tourism administration. Georgian National Tourism Administration will take a part in the tourism exhibition in Turkey
On January 24-27 Georgian National Tourism Administration is taking a part in the tourism exhibition EMITT (East Mediterranean Tourism and Travel Exhibition) in Istanbul, Turkey. Georgian National Tourism Administration will be presented with its own stand. The exhibition has been held for 17 years and it is the biggest in the region. 60 countries and 130 000 visitors visit the exhibition every year.
